HERRMANN, Alexander (1844 ? 96). Herrmann Lithographed Cigar Box Label. Circa 1901. Colorful lithographed label bears Herrmann's image ? dressed in his Mephistopheles costume ? holding a quill and signing his name. 5 ? x 8 3/8". Old cellotape repairs to verso, offsetting to front, one small chip at top. RARE.
