[HOFFMANN] ROTERBERG, Augustus (1897 ? 1928). New Era Card Tricks. [Chicago]: The Author, 1897. First edition. Salmon cloth stamped gilt with portrait frontispiece of the author, illustrated with line drawings and plates. 8vo. Bookplate and ownership signature of Otto Brownridge to front free endpaper. Cloth mottled and stained, hinges weak and reinforced with red cloth tape, spine sunned and chipped. Fair. PROFESSOR HOFFMANN'S copy, with his engraved bookplate affixed to the front pastedown.
