[INSCRIBED]. [HOLLYWOOD]. BURKE, Billie (1884-1970). With a Feather on My Nose. New York: Appleton-Century-Crofts, 1949. 8vo. 272pp. Original black boards with pictorial dust jacket and publisher's wrap-around band. EARLY EDITION, INSCRIBED in pen by Billie Burke on the ffep: "To John Dickinson/with warmest congratulations/good wishes/Billie Burke/1949." Burke was most-well known for depicting Glinda The Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz.
Condition
Sunned and rubbed, lightly soiled, chipped at extremities; ownership markings, price ("$3.00") covered with a sticker. Very good.
