FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO LOVELL ON THE HALF-TITLE: ?Captain Lovell: Thanks so much again!! Very glad to finally meet you. (Beat Navy!) Gerald Brennan?. This lot is accompanied by a COA by Lovell?s daughter, Barbara, and a later black and white portrait of Lovell in his suit. This book is a ?what if? story of what would have happened if Apollo XIII had successfully landed on the moon. Lovell and other astronauts helped Brennan with the story.
