FIRST EDITION OF THE AUTHOR?S FIRST BOOK, based on his experiences as a migrant worker during the Depression. In the RARE DUST JACKET. Larry McMurtry once wrote that Nelson Algren held the best literary claim to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
