The second herbal produced in the United States and the first with in-text illustrations, offered hand-colored or plain. 8vo. 393pp. Illustrations (not colored). Original calf binding. FIRST EDITION. Austin 902.
Condition
Rubbing, chipped spine and bumped corners; substantial damp staining, foxing, and creasing. Some holes and tears. Heavily annotated in both ink and pencil. Good.
