[POTTERY]. ?Recounting the Battle of the Nile? Ceramic Jar. [Ca., 1799]. A fine transfer print of a group of colorful characters gathered to recount events in the Battle of the Nile. Approximately 2 ? x 4 ??. Small chips not affecting lid or image. Near fine. Such enthusiasm for Nelson?s great victory was a breeding ground for his growing fame. Original Nelson memorabilia is uncommon today.
