[RAMO SAMEE] BILLY BEST?S VISIT TO THE FAIR. Circa 1825. Hand-colored wraps, wood-engraved illustrations, each accompanied by verses regarding what Billy saw at the fair. 12mo. A RARE ?wee? book with conjuring content. The rhyming couplet accompanying Samee?s likeness ? depicting him swallowing a sword, states: Then the next thing you?d see, /Was Ramo Samee, / The Conjurer; swallow a sword! /Then throw it in the air, /Four balls ? I declare! /And catch them again: ?pon my /Word
