[RIVIERE BINDING]. PRESCOTT, William Hickling (1796?1859). The Complete Works of? Edited by John Foster Kirk. London: Gibbings & Company, 1896-97. 12 volumes, 8vo. Half?titles. Full contemporary polished calf ruled in gilt, raised bands, citrus and burgundy spine labels gilt, compartments completely gilt in fleuron tools, top edges gilt, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, stamp signed by Riviere & Son for Sotheran & Co. (spines a bit sunned and rubbed, some marginal toning). An attractive set.
