All bound in publisher's deluxe limited bindings by Clarence Kedrowsky of Waco, TX in quarter harlequin morocco backstrips over dark gray cloth boards, harlequin gilt morocco lettering labels on front boards, watered silk endleaves, (publisher's ?) acetate dust jackets (minor occasional wear to boards; acetate jackets chipped, with tears). Bright and fine. FIRST EDITIONS, #2/25 SPECIALLY PREPARED AND BOUND COPIES (all 4 volumes are #2/25) ALL SIGNED BY SIMPSON; VOLUME I ADDITIONALLY SIGNED BY WILLIAM E. BARD (the Poet Laureate of Texas) AND INSCRIBED BY SIMPSON ON THE FIRST BLANK TO DON EASTLAND.
