[Benton, Thomas Hart, illus.] Parkman, Francis. The Oregon Trail. New York: Doubleday, Doran & Co., 1945. Numbered 58 of a limited edition of 1,000 copies, signed by Benton on the limitation page. Original brown cloth with dark brown stamped illustration on front board, gilt-stamped title on spine, t.e.g. Illustrated with color plates. 8vo. Headcap frayed, spine darkened, stain to front board, corners bumped, ex-library copy with numbering to spine and stamp to frontise, marring to front pastedown, inner joint cracked. A square and tight copy.
