Between 1987 and 1997 the photographer Christian Coigny produced a series of photographs for the furniture manufacturer Vitra. He staged celebrities on chairs by world-famous designers. The campagne originated from the personal initiative of Rolf Fehlbaum. Overall over 130 portaits were shot.
