Ecuador, a ceramic head depicting a smiling figure with broad facial features, pierced ears, and an elaborate headdress or facial adornment extending down the center of the face. The surface shows light weathering consistent with age, presented on a modern black display stand. Ht. 3 ¼, wd. 3, ht. 6 ¾ in. with base. Provenance: Leonard Kalina, Los Angeles, CA.
