- Lot Description
Nayarit, a hand-modeled hollow figure of stylized anthropomorphic form standing with bent legs and hands resting at the hips. The large head featuring narrow incised slits for eyes and mouth, with painted red and black circular design elements around the eyes and on the cheeks. Meshed pattern black sash around the waist, the legs painted red. The back of the head contains a round opening. Ht. 8 ½, wd. 6 ¾ in. across the legs.
