Nayarit, the terracotta figure seated with a straight back in upright position, modeled with broad stance and short, outstretched arms, the surface decorated with raised nodules across the shoulders and upper torso. The head features a ridged coiffure, slit eyes, and an open mouth, the body showing traces of white and red pigment. Ht. 11 ¼, wd. 8 in. at shoulders.
