- Lot Description
1st item: Small Cherokee pottery wedding vase with black fired glaze and incised diamond decoration, signed on the base "by Bigmeat/ Cherokee, NC". 4 in. H. 2nd item: Small Cherokee pottery vase with incised decoration around the rim, signed on the base "Bigmeat/Cherokee, NC". 3 1/8 in. H. 3rd item: Large Catawba pottery bowl with ruffled rim and black fired interior glaze, unsigned. 5 1/2" H x 13" dia. 4th item: Catawba pottery vase with tall straight rim, unsigned. 5 1/2" H. All items are 20th century.
Condition
1st item: Very good condition. 2nd item: A Very minute fleabite to the rim. 3rd item: Scattered firing flaws, otherwise very good condition. 4th item: Some firing cracks noted along the lower body; otherwise, overall good condition.
