- Lot Description
Continental miniature tall clock with Delft style porcelain case and French Japy Freres movement and pendulum. Case is decorated on all sides with typical blue leaves and flowers on a white ground; the front with a seaside village scene featuring a windmill, boats and various buildings. Enameled dial with blue lettering and gilt metal surround. Rear of clock marked in design with initials "APK"; clockworks with Grand Medaille d'Honneur stamp in circle. 25 3/4 in H. Late 19th C.
Condition
Very good condition with expected crazing and chips to enamel. Stabilizing repair and repaint to rear of left side. Works not tested for functionality or guaranteed.
