.69 caliber. 41.75" barrel. NSN. Blued finish, iron furniture, walnut stock. Single shot muzzleloading reconverted flintlock musket with brass blade front sight, no rear sight, sling swivel on triggerguard bow, missing the upper swivel and missing the ramrod. Reconverted flint lock with rounded, bridled and fenced iron pan and rounded reinforced cock. No markings remain on lock. Breech marked US. Similar to 1812-1815 pattern US muskets with the low comb of an 1816 stock.

Fair. Bore poor. Metal with traces of old applied blue, scattered surface oxidation and some pitting. Lock with some pitting, cock, pan and frizzen heavily pitted. Bands pitted as well. Mechanically functional action. Wood sanded and refinished with a significant repaired crack running from the rear lock screw to the wrist and another running from the front lock screw towards the lower band. Forend with slivered loss.
