CAPPIELLO, Leonetto (1875 – 1942). Maurin Quina. 1906. Paris: Vercasson & Cie. Color lithograph advertising poster with Cappiello’s “Green Devil” holding a bottle of the aperitif. This is often regarded as Cappiello’s most famous poster. Cappiello/Rennert 114.
Linen backed. 63 x 47".
Condition
Light soiling and toning at extremities. Minor edge wear with 1" repaired tear at right margin. Both margins hole punched. A-.
