[LITHOGRAPHY]. [NATIVE AMERICANS]. The Ute Chief Mining Company Stock Certificate. Clear Creek County, Colo: The Ute Chief Mining Company, August 6, 1898. Certificate no. 144 for 333 shares with central portrait of a Native American man. On watermarked paper, with secretary and president signatures. 6 ? x 10?. Silver seal, and two stock transfer stamps. Some marginal chipping, toning, two vertical creases. Very good. Offered with Chicago & South Western Railway Company 100 shares stock certificate (blank). From the Mark Rucker Collection.
