Lakota (Sioux), fourth quarter 19th century, wearing a hide dress with fringes, decorated across the shoulders and waist with multicolored beaded strips, with long pipe bead earrings, the head framed by a white beaded band, with bead eyes and mouth, beaded moccasins, a tooth necklace and long plaited hair. Ht. 12 ¾ in.
