- Lot Description
Sarsi, 1880s/90s, constructed of muslin in the hide-shirt style, with long fringe at the shoulders and sleeves and beaded strips in vivid blue, white, red, and green forming triangular and banded designs across the chest and arms. Traces of yellow pigment remain on the torso, with red trade cloth edging the neck opening. Accompanied by a report by Mike Cowdrey. Lg. 33, wd. 63 in. arm to arm.
