Lot 242, Henri Matisse, La Chevelure, Gouche on paper cut and pasted, 1952; Estimate $15,000-$20,000

 Items include a rare Yale Wonder Clock coin-op machine, a rare Henri Matisse painted paper cut and pasted collage, "la chevelure", signed and dated 1952, provenance Pierre Matisse Gallery. Other works provenance Pierre Matisse Gallery, including Glenn Coleman, The Circus Family, 1936 as well as works by Miro, Chagall and others. Rare Walker Evans Archive, including over 50 photographs and ephemera. Other paintings include a fine abstract work by Albert Gallatin, painting by Robert Natkin, George Bruestle, a fine Guy Wiggins winter scene painting, abstract painting by Rolph Scarlett, bronze by Ed Giobbi.
