BONAPARTE, Joseph-Napoleon (1764-1844) and BONAPARTE, Julie Clary (1771-1845). Pair of Autograph Letters Signed, One by Joseph Bonaparte, the Other by His Wife. Philadelphia: 21 Avril 1824 (April 21, 1824) and Paris: 11 Fevrier 1810 (February 11, 1810). Both letters on plain white paper. Sizes range from 10 x 8" to 8 x 6". Some toning, creasing, a few short tears. Very good. Joseph's letter is addressed "Mon cher Neveau" and Julie's letter is addressed "Mon cher Achille". Joseph was Napoleon's older brother and king of Naples and Spain; Julie was his spouse and the queen of those states.
