Struss, Karl (American, 1886?1981). Karl Struss Two-Page ALS to Ralph M. Pearson. Hollywood, CA. Dated March 10, 1921. The Academy Award winning cinematographer writes to the famous American etcher, Ralph Pearson, telling him ?I do not know of any place where you could display your etchings in Hollywood as there do not seem to be any dealers out here.? He then tries to get him to join the ?Hollywood Art Association? in which ?they are trying to establish just such a place for local artists.? 6 ? x 6?. Light creasing, else fine.
