Handwritten manuscript on handmade paper with flowing, ornate penwork, bound in vellum with period leather straps; land charter on vellum (old folds). Includes an unsigned letter on Columbia University Department of Economics letterhead ca. 1930s explaining the manuscript?s origin. Various names and dates inscribed on cover.
