[ii], 322?629 pp. Original printed paper covers, two brass brads (upper cover worn at edges and partially separated at fastener with some spotting or staining, corners bumped). ADVANCED MIMEOGRAPH PROOF that is ?unpublished and is the property of Richard Wright? (title?page). A novel set in a small town in rural Mississippi with Wright?s characteristic themes of Black oppression, exploitation, corruption, and flight.
