French Provincial Carved Pine Tallcase Clock, 19th c, with polychromed floral decoration, the ogee crown over an enamel dial time and strike clock within a polychromed brass repousse face, above a banjo shaped pendulum door enclosing a polychromed floral repousse brass pendulum, on a tapered plinth base on bracket feet, H.- 94 1/2 in., W.- 21 1/2 in., D.- 9 in.Condition consistent with age and use. Shrinkage split to pendulum door, plinth and skirt. Scuffs, rubs and scratches. Shrinkage cracks to curved sides. Some areas of old worm damage.
