After Adolf Lasinsky (1808 - 1871 ibid.): Old photograph of a painting by Adolf Lasinsky, child portrait of William III Henry, Governor of the Netherlands, c. 1900, Sepia-Photography
Technique: Sepia-Photography on , mounted on Cardboard
Inscription: Inscribed on the bottom of the cardboard with: "Wilhelm III. Henry, Governor of the Netherlands, King of Great Britain, Uncle of Frederick Henry [...]". Inscribed on the reverse: "A. Lasinsky". Beautiful photograph of the child's portrait. In full figure A. Lasinsky has depicted William III. Henry. Little Wilhelm holds a flower in his outstretched right hand. Innocently the child looks to the left, but with his outstretched arms he takes possession of the whole picture space. The German painter and lithographer Adolf Lasinsky worked in Frankfurt a. M., Cologne, Koblenz and Düsseldorf.
