***Auction Highlight*** ULTRA RARE!!! ORIGINAL WWII "Short Snoter" 13 Signed Notes WOW! COOL! RARE! Must SEE!. Unfolded, the chain of bills stretches to over 6 feet in length.All Original example of a World War II short snorter, basically meaning a banknote inscribed by people traveling together on an aircraft. a tradition started by Alaskan Bush flyers in the 1920s which spread through the military and commercial aviation. During World War II short snorters were signed by flight crews and conveyed good luck. Friends would take the local currency and sign each other's bills creating a "keepsake of your buddy's signatures", and as in the present case sometimes taping them together in a money chain. Included in the chain are Chinese yuan, Moroccan francs, Japanese/Philippine pesos, Japanese/Burmese rupees, Indian rupees, etc. A Key Date's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin.
