A Brown Ground Embroidered Silk Dragon Robe

finely worked on the front and back with nine dragons couched in gold-wrapped threads in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', amidst plycolour cloud scrolls, bats, and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, all above the lishui band, with dark blue borders at the cuffs and collar with similar decoration.
Collar to hem: 52 in., 132 cm.

Overall fair condition, Wear and loose threads to the collars and the interior of both cuffs. Moderate wear and soiling to the interior of the robe.
