Buyers get the chance this weekend to create their very own Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame when a host of rare music memorabilia goes under the hammer during Ahlers & Ogletree’s Winter Estates Auction. Headed by three pieces from Elvis Aaron Presley, the auction offers a stunning array of material from a list of musicians that reads like a veritable industry who’s who.

Got an empty space behind your bar screaming to be filled? Might be time to bid on the framed gold record of the King’s classic “Aloha From Hawaii.” There’s also sheet music and a framed theater promo for Elvis’ “G.I. Blues.”

Other highlights among the music offerings include rare guitars from Gibson, Fender and Gretsch, signed by the likes of James Taylor, AC/DC’s Angus Young and John Mellencamp. There’s even a Justin Bieber personalized Les Paul guitar for those among you still in the grips of Bieber-Fever! Throw in signed pictures of Mick Jagger, Billy Joel and Bon Jovi and you soon realize there’s something here to fit everyone’s taste.

It’s not all music though. Sports fans are well catered for at the Winter Estate Auction. There’s baseball memorabilia from legends Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio and others. The Michael Jordan signed basketball should prove a hit, while golfers can take a swing at autographed material from Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman.

Away from the memorabilia, the Winter Estate Auction features items from the estate of Booker T. Washington, Menaboni paintings, Rolex watches, and rare pens from Parker, Mont Blanc, Sheaffer and Waterman. There’s even a titanium-colored Ferrari F430 Spider, the perfect car for burning off those mounting winter blues.

The auction begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 8.
