  Pair Chinese Yellow Glazed Foo Dogs, Republic Period, early 20th Century
  
  A fun and whimsical pair of Chinese porcelain foo dogs in yellow, green and purple brown glazes, Republic Period, circa 1920s.
  
  Each goofy foo dog glazed yellow with green and puce highlights, and seated upon a brownish purple glazed plinth. Their expressions ferociously cute, with mouths wide open in smiling grins, fangs bared, tongues lolling, and expressive, bulging eyes.
  
  The male holds a green glazed ball under his foot. The female with a green glazed cub under hers.
