.44 caliber, 4.5" barrel. The barrel features scroll engravings on the breech that extend onto the tang. The lock is unmarked, and features scroll engravings. The hammer features an engraved eagle head. The side plate is a sterling silver dragon form. There is also an engraved sterling silver insert forward of the lock, beneath the nipple bolster. The trigger guard is engraved and has a ball and point form finial. The stock features German silver key escutcheons, a forend cap, a buttplate and a shield form thumbrest. The walnut stock is checkered and features a wooden ramrod.
The barrel and lock have an even plum patina. The sterling features are bright and shiny. The stock has some dings, but is in very good overall condition. The ramrod is likely replaced. The bore is good and could be cleaned. The action is good.
