Conditions of Sale This is a public sale conducted by Best Estate Services, Inc. (“the Auctioneer”). Best Estate Services, Inc. acts solely as an agent for the items being sold. By bidding on any item, the purchaser agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale and any other terms announced or published 2. As-Is Condition All items (hereinafter referred to as “item(s), lot(s), article(s), property,” etc.) are sold AS IS, without any guarantee or warranty, express or implied. Best Estate Services, Inc., its agents, employees, and/or consignors make no representations or warranties regarding the correctness of the catalog, description, authenticity, condition, size, quality, rarity, provenance, or historical relevance of any property. Last-Minute Bidding Due to internet latency or device factors, last-second bids may not register correctly. Local Pick-Up All local pick-up arrangements must be made by Tuesday End of Day following the close of the auction. Local pickups are subject to a flat $5.00 handling fee. Local pick-up will take place 8 days after the close of the auction, on the following Monday between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Important Pick-Up Rules: No cash will be accepted at local pick-up locations. All invoices must be paid online prior to arrival. If you are sending someone else to pick up your items, you must provide a copy of their driver’s license in advance of pick-up for authorization. Pick-ups are by appointment only within the designated time window. Please contact us promptly if you are unable to attend the scheduled pick-up so alternate arrangements can be discussed. 10. Storage Fees All items must be picked up or have shipping arranged within two (2) weeks of the auction close. Buyer is responsible for shipping and handling costs, shipping information is not included in the purchase price of your item(s). Best Estate Services offers in-house packing and shipping, or will have UPS, USPS, or FedEx handle the shipping process at our own discretion. Buyers may also choose to arrange a local pick up, and can reach out via email at hello@bestestateservices.com to schedule one with Best Estate Services.
The packing and shipping process begins once the initial auction invoice has been paid by the winning bidder. Once packed, buyers will then either receive a separate invoice from Best Estate Services for shipping and handling costs, or a phone call from one of our local shipping providers, who will handle all shipping from that point on. Local pick ups are free and must be arranged beforehand with a representative.
All items must be picked up, or shipping arrangements made, within two weeks of the day of sale. NOTE: Items left here more than two weeks will incur storage fees at a rate of $10.00 per lot per day (this rate applies to all items regardless of size or value). Once the shipper has your items, please allow 5-7 business days for them to process and package your purchase. If payment for shipping has not yet been made, the shipper will contact you to arrange payment and then ship your items. Please note that full payment for your items must be received by Best Estate Services, Inc. before we will turn your item(s) over to the shipper. Remember that if you pay with a cashier’s check, your items will be given a release date of 10 days after your payment is deposited. LAST MINUTE/ SECOND BIDDING: Depending on numerous factors including the device you are using to bid, internet connectivity, location, network latency, etc. last minute/second bidding may in rare events result in an auction timer display error showing the auction has ended. Users, whether bidding or watching, should use their internet browser's refresh button during the last minute/seconds of an auction to ensure timer accuracy and reduce the chance of display errors. If users wait until the last minutes/seconds to place a bid or are watching an item and for any reason are unsuccessful when the auction item ends - the final results of the auction will stand as our system indicates. Our auctions generally have a 2-week duration or more, giving sufficient time for users to place bids. Users are encouraged to use the 'Max Bid' feature which allows the system to bid on your behalf to counter any last minute/second bidding.
BUYER'S FEES: An Auction Buyer's Fee will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price. Buyers' fee percentage is determined by the actual amount of the final accepted high bid on each item.
