Auction Description

Live Auction 2025 by Crocker Art Museum

The Live Auction is a festive celebration featuring a select group of original works by the region’s most renowned artists. Artists are invited to submit their best pieces for consideration months in advance, and the artworks are reviewed and selected by a committee led by the Crocker’s Mort and Marcy Friedman Director & CEO and Ted and Melza Barr Chief Curator & Associate Director, Scott A. Shields. This annual event attracts art patrons, community leaders, and philanthropists from throughout the region to support artists and acquire great works of art, many of which are created by artists in the Museum’s permanent collection.

To place an absentee bid on any of the works, please email rsvp@crockerart.org by June 5. Bidding starts at 50% of the fair market value. For questions or to give credit card information, call (916) 808-7843.

Support raised from this year’s Art Auction is critical for the Crocker and for the thousands of children, families, and adults the Museum serves every year.
