Japan, 1938. Born on April 22, 1938, Issey Miyake throughout his life has taken the fashion industry by storm with his unique designs and multiple brands. A Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake is known for the fusion of the western and eastern components in his styles. He is well known for creative clothing designs inspired by technology. Miyake’s unique style and drive made him a popular designer early in his career. Thereafter he traveled to Paris in 1965 and joined a popular school to learn dress designing.
