Terms & Conditions
Please call us at 630-495-0229 ext. 0 to schedule a preview date and time. Our preview is limited; be prepared with the lot numbers you would like to view. Lots for preview must have a low estimate of $1,000 or greater. Please be aware that viewing for some lots may be limited or may not be available. The preview periods allow you to personally inspect each and every item for sale. This is also a time to ask questions of our staff members regarding the auction or a particular item. If you are unable to be present in-person, you may submit a condition request via Bidsquare.
Leonard Auction has a full color catalog online for each auction at least a week prior to the sale date. The catalog contains all pertinent information about the sale and a detailed listing, with photographs or every item offered for sale. Printed copies of the catalog are available for purchase at the auction house.
GENERAL AUCTION INFORMATION:
Live Bidding: The most exciting way to bid in one of our auctions is to attend the sale in person and bid live. When you enter the auction house on the day of sale, simply register at the front desk with photo identification. You will receive a bid number that will allow you to bid on any item in the sale.
If you are unable to attend the auction in person, you may bid via absentee bid on Bidsquare.
All of our auctions are internet enabled through Bidsquare. As a registered internet bidder, you may leave an absentee bid prior to the auction, or participate live as the auction occurs.
