Featuring decorative arts and fine carpets deaccessioned from the prestigious Minneapolis Institute of Art; furniture and decorative arts from the Laura Pels Collection, River House, NYC; and antiquities, African, and Oceanic art from the collection of Karl Stirner. Fine art highlights include works by Antoni Clavé, Jean Dufy, Fernand Léger (attributed), Charles Neal, Francesco Codino, Rubén Alpízar, a rare bronze by Sir Jacob Epstein, Jules-Cyrille Cave, and a healthy dose of Old Master drawings from Italy and the Continent, punctuated by a delicate sanguine drawing of a horse in the manner of Antonio Pisanello. Also featured is a Sèvres Louis Philippe Service de Table du Roi, a documented 18th-century Sèvres cup and saucer from the royal household of Marie Antoinette, a pair of Régence giltwood consoles from the Wrightsman Collections, an early 15th-century Italian majolica pitcher, ex-museum, an 18th-century Imperial Russian engraved and gilt glass goblet with a bust portrait of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, and an extensive offering of Astier de Villatte ceramics.
