Old Port Auctions is pleased to present the Master of Art Series, Volume III with 1% of the hammer price of sold and paid for items donated to the Maine Audubon Society. Auction items include rare paintings from various famed artists from around the World, fine artwork from well known New England and Maine Artists, rare lithographs, photographs, and highly collectible signatures and items owned / created by various artists and notable people from around the World. Artists range from Northeast artists such as Stephen Morgan Etnier, Max Kuehne, Alfred Chadbourn, & Robert Solotaire; old masters including Desire & Georges Laugee, Giovanni Pannini, and Jean Carolus; and leading 20th century artists. All items are sold "as is" and all sales are final. The auctioneer, consignor, or any affiliated parties to Old Port Auctions, LLC, make no representations or provide any warranties of any manner in regard to the items sold at auction and in no event, shall Old Port Auctions, LLC be liable for the descriptions stated, the physical condition on any level including description, quality, size, medium, provenance, period, sources, origins, or any other statement provided. This includes all written and oral statements. Any COAs will be uploaded online if available. PRIOR TO BIDDING, iIt is the bidders responsibility to inspect the merchandise thoroughly that are being auctioned and to independently determine any components of the auction item. ALL SALES are final & refunds will not be given. The auctioneer reserves the right to remove any items at auctioneer's sole discretion before the sale without any liability and for any reason. The auctioneer will be the final judge as to who is the successful bidder. In the event of any dispute the auctioneer shall, at it's sole discretion, decide to reopen the bidding or not. Some of the lots in this sale are offered subject to a reserve. This reserve is a confidential minimum price agreed upon by the consignor & Old Port Auctions, LLC and will not be disclosed to prospective bidders. If any auction item under reserve does not meet the reserve price at auction, the lot will not be sold. Absentee bids if so authorized in writing are allowed. All absentee bids will be executed competitively during the sale. Items will be purchased for the lowest price possible regardless of the amount of the cap set on any preset online, onsite, absentee, and/or telecommunications bid. Where two absentee or preset capped bidders bid the same amount, the first bid received will be honored. Old Port Auctions, LLC will not be responsible or have any liability for any errors that occur while trying to properly execute the bids as deemed herein. On the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, ownership to the offered lot will pass to the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer, and as such, the winning bidder assumes full risk and responsibility for the item won and will pay the full purchase price of the item within five (5) days from the date of the auction. All items are subject to the Buyer's premium noted and such premium will be added to the successful bid price and shall be billed by Old Port Auctions to winning bidder. Maine residents and other applicable residents of other States and any applicable countries will pay applicable sales tax and/or other related taxes per laws of Buyer's residency unless the purchaser possesses a sales tax exemption number. In any event when a lot is subject to a reserve, the auctioneer may reject any bid not adequate to the value of the lot. Payment Terms: Cash, certain credit cards, and Wire Transfer. Any precious metals or other items noted in the item description may require cash payment. For wire transfers, Buyers are responsible for transfer fees, and the applicable Buyer's Premium. First time buyers may be required to provide credit prior to auction to pay via check. Sales tax must be paid as applicable. Unless checks, cash, or money orders, any fees for credit cards or transfers are the responsibility of the Buyer. 3.5% fee will be charged for credit card payments and as applicable, any other fees charged to Old Port Auctions by Buyer's choice of payment billed to Old Port Auctions, LLC by third party including wire transfers or any other allowed forms of payment. will be the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
