Auction Description

Sample and Test Cans From Coca Cola and Related Brands 1970s-1990s by TavernTrove

This auction consists of the Coca-Cola collection of a Reynolds Can plant employee who saved them between the mid-1970s to 2003.  The vast majority of them were pulled from the production line.

Some of the cans are sample cans that were never intended to be issued, some are regular-issue cans that were never lidded, some represent test-market cans, some cans were run through the line to test paints and painting techniques, and some he just picked up in his travels.

Generally, this is 50¢ per can, $1 per tray and bottle, $10 per wooden crate. Medium-sized signs will require a $5-10 handling fee. The handling fee for large items could be quite a bit more. Shipping charges will be combined for multiple lots, of course.
