All measurements and weights are approximate. Clarke is not responsible for typographical errors. All glassware is sold as is; Clarke Auction can not check every piece for chips. Bidding Clarke Auction reserves the right to withdraw, combine, or divide any lot at its sole discretion prior to the commencement of bidding The purchase price payable by the Buyer shall be the sum of the final bid (“hammer price”) plus the Buyer’s Premium of 25% and any applicable sales tax. Purchases are subject to 8.375% Westchester County/New York State sales tax except when a valid resale certificate has been furnished and verified valid by Clarke Auction, prior to any auction or sale. *** Per New York regulations: Non resale certificate holders are to pay the same tax rate as local buyers regardless if items are shipped out of state/country. *** A small percentage of lots may have a reserve price, which is the confidential minimum price below which such lot will not be sold. No reserve will exceed the low estimate of the lot. Reserves are agreed upon between consignor(s) and Clarke Auction. The Auctioneer may execute bids on behalf of absentee bidders and on behalf of consignors up to a reserve price. Any lots remaining at Clarke Auction past ten (10) days after the conclusion of the sale will be subject to a storage fee of $10 per lot, per day. Should the cost of storage exceed the purchase price, Clarke reserves the right to dispose of the purchased lot. Any invoices remaining unpaid past ten (10) business days after the conclusion of the sale may be charged to the credit card provided at time of registration for the total amount payable to Clarke Auction. Clarke Auction will not be held responsible for loss or damage to items left on premises past 10 business days after the conclusion of the sale. Clarke Auction reserves the right to re-auction, without reserve, items not removed within thirty (30) business days after the conclusion of the sale. Clarke Auction is not responsible for shipping. All shipping is to be arranged and paid by successful bidders. Upon request, Clarke Auction will provide buyers with a list of recommended shippers. If, for any reason, a purchased lot cannot be delivered or picked up in the condition it was in at time of sale, or should any purchased lot be stolen or lost prior to delivery or pickup, Clarke Auction shall not be held liable for any amount in excess of that paid by the purchaser.
