Auction Description

June Great Estates Summer Curated Auction    by Willow Auction House
Willow Auction House is excited to present our first finely Curated auction of 2021. Among the items up for sale, a large selection of artwork including paintings by Kurt Trampedach, Vincent Stiepevich, Julio Romero de Torres and Emile Claus; multiples including lithographs by Larry Rivers, Will Barnet and Salvador Dali, as well as screenprints by Alex Katz and Robert Rauschenberg. The June Curated Auction also features furniture including ornately carved pieces in the style of RJ Horner, as well as a selection of mid-century and Danish modern items; glass including Lalique and Saint Louis crystal, Galle, Tiffany Favrile, and Steuben Aurene; a selection of jewelry, silver, vintage toys and trains, and a grandmother clock by Elmer Stennes. Rounding out the sale, a collection of folk art circus items, including a Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty set and several hand made wagons, among them a complete hand painted sideshow wagon train. Read more

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Participation in any auction held by Willow Auction House, whether in person, by phone, via absentee bid or by way of a Live Internet platform such as HiBid, Liveauctioneers, Invaluable, or Bidsquare requires the acceptance of our terms of sale, participation therefore constitutes acceptance of all terms listed on this page, failure to read these terms does not release the bidder from the rules and requirements set forward in these terms. The auctioneer will be the final judge as to which bidder is the highest bidder. In the event of any dispute in this matter, the auctioneer shall, at his or her discretion decide whether to reopen the bidding. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneer's "hammer". The purchaser shall assume full risk and responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. All items purchased on the Internet platforms must be paid for in 7 days from the date of sale unless prior arrangements have been made with Willow Auction House. A dispute will be filed after that period if payment has not been made. Once a dispute is filed claims to unpaid items are void and Willow Auction House will have full title & claim to these items to resell them at auction. In the event of a filed dispute the bidder will have 7 days to contact Willow Auction House and arrange payment of winning bids before the dispute becomes permanent and the items re-offered. All bidders are required to register and give full identification prior to the beginning of the auction and are required to use the number issued to them when identifying themselves as the successful bidder. Bidders that sign up on the Internet platform less than 30 minutes before the start of the sale will not be approved. Any bidder with limited or no history of bidding on the Internet platform might not be approved. Bidders without prior history will have to call Willow Auction House to register and submit credit card information. The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any property prior to auction. This is a privately owned & operated sale and we reserve the right to refuse admittance to any person and reserve the right to decline any online bidder. No transfer will be recognized from one buyer to another. In-house buyer's premium with Willow Auction House and HiBid is 25%. All internet sales using the Internet platform are subject to a flat 28% buyer's premium. Any items not shipped or picked up within 4 weeks from the auction will become house property or be donated. PAYMENT Payment is expected the first week after the sale, payment is expected in full, no payment plan or other arrangements will be made. If you are a successful bidder, please contact Willow Auction House, if you have not yet been contacted by Willow Auction House, the day after the sale from 11 am - 4 pm to confirm auction details and payment method. Payment methods accepted are credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover) and PayPal which, check (property will not be released until check clears), cashier's check, cash & wire transfer.
