Auction Description

Great Estates and Fine Art Curated Auction by Willow Auction House

Our Great Estates and Fine Art Curated Auction features more than 60 finely curated lots of art, bronzes, maps, stained glass, jewelry, watches and more.
The centerpiece of the sale is an oil on wood panel by Swiss-American artist Kurt Seligmann. The painting, dated 1955 and titled Little Initiation, depicts two of Seligmann's signature Surrealist figures on a dark background. Another highlight is an oil on canvas by David Burliuk of a street scene in Hot Springs, New Mexico. The sale also features an oil on canvas landscape by Louis Comfort Tiffany, as well as several pieces by Molly Luce, a Paul Jenkins watercolor and an Andy Warhol S&H Green Stamps invitation from 1965.
A selection of antiquarian books and maps, including a set of 18th century Jan Barend Elwe maps of southeast Asia, are also among the highlights. The sale also features a vintage Van Cleef & Arpels brooch, a collection of English tea caddies, a large bronze by Bruno Lucchesi, a Cohr Danish modern sterling silver flatware set, stained glass windows, and a selection of watches including a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso.
