Ad Reinhardt

American, 1913-1967. A noted member of the New York School of Abstract Expressionists and teacher, Ad Reinhadt is most known for his Hard-Edged paintings and collages. His early work was filled with vibrant color and abstract forms and evolved into dark, monochromatic works of clean geometric forms as he explored the simplification of Abstraction and Minimalism.
